LED to host major aerospace event in New Orleans

Louisiana Economic Development will bring a major aerospace conference to New Orleans in May 2018, with the SpeedNews 6th Annual Aerospace Manufacturing Conference convening leading manufacturers and suppliers in the aerospace industry.

Topics to be covered by industry-leading experts will include innovation within manufacturing, contemporary machining technologies, automation, manufacturing capabilities and processes, and aerospace trends.

A special focus will explore the impact of the Internet of Things, Additive Manufacturing and Big Data. Attendees also will take part in a tour of the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans.

The event also will feature a Supplier ShowCase exhibiting innovative products and services in the aerospace sector.
